Prof. Dr. Nurul Ihsan, M.Pd

An international research collaboration between Nurul Ihsan from the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program, Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) and Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie from the Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, has produced a journal entitled "Heuristic Evaluation of the Sport Analysis Application Interface." This research is an important step in advancing sports science in both countries.

In this journal, Nurul Ihsan and Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie evaluated the interface of a sports analytics application using the heuristic method. This research aims to identify the weaknesses and strengths of the application interface, so that it can be optimized for use by coaches, athletes, and sports researchers. The heuristic evaluation conducted covered various aspects such as usability, efficiency, and user comfort.

This collaboration not only focuses on the technical aspects of sports analytics applications, but also incorporates an interdisciplinary approach to understand how technology can support improved athlete performance and reduced injury risk. Using state-of-the-art technology and comprehensive evaluation methods, this research provides valuable insights into how sports analytics applications can be effectively implemented in training programs.

In addition to making a significant academic contribution, this research project also opened up opportunities for knowledge and cultural exchange between Indonesia and Malaysia. Through this collaboration, students and academic staff from both universities have the opportunity to learn from each other, expand their professional networks, and enrich their academic experiences.

The presence of this collaborative project strengthens the relationship between UNP and UiTM, creating a strong foundation for long-term cooperation in the future. With a shared commitment to academic and research excellence, Nurul Ihsan and Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie contribute to the broader development of sports science, bringing significant benefits to society in both countries. Their research in the journal "Heuristic Evaluation of the Sport Analysis Application Interface" is a true testament to their dedication in advancing the field of physical education, health, and recreation.
