Students of the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program from various universities in Indonesia took part in the Merdeka Student Exchange (PMM) program held at PGRI University Semarang. This program aims to provide different learning experiences and expand the scope of students' knowledge beyond their campus environment.
The Merdeka Student Exchange at Universitas PGRI Semarang enriches cross-cultural interactions and understanding of diversity in higher education. During the program, students have the opportunity to learn from practical experience, exchange ideas, and collaborate in a variety of academic and non-academic activities.
These include a series of seminars, workshops, field trips and social activities designed to enhance their understanding of Physical Education, Health and Recreation and broaden their horizons about the challenges and opportunities in the field.
One of the participants, Afdhal Zikri Mulia, a Physical Education student from State University of Malang, shared his experience, "PMM at PGRI Semarang University gave me new insights into physical education and recreation. I really appreciate this opportunity because I can learn from students from various regions in Indonesia."
Professor Agus Suyanto, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science at PGRI Semarang University, said, "We are delighted to host this Merdeka Student Exchange program. This is an opportunity for us to expand our network of academic cooperation with other universities in Indonesia and support the exchange of knowledge between students."
The Merdeka Student Exchange at Universitas PGRI Semarang not only provides valuable experience for the participants, but also strengthens cooperation between universities in supporting the development of quality human resources in Indonesia.
